Peter Pilotto.
Peter Pilotto is a womenswear brand that is driven by two
male designers one being Peter Pilotto and the other being Christopher De Vos.
The both come from areas of the world Peter Pilotto is one part Australian and
the other part Italian, where as Christopher De Vos is half Belgian and half
Peruvian. So looking for inspiration to create the collection should be quiet
easy just by looking at there own heritage could be a driving force behind the
brand.
The brand first showed for spring summer 2011 at London
fashion week and I can only assume that the show was a success, as the brand is
now sold in over 50 countries worldwide. The high level of print drives Peter
Pilotto’s collection that is infused on all areas of the collection. Peter
Pilotto is the driving force behind the print element of the label and
Christopher De Vos is the driving force behind designing the way in which the
garment will be shaped, working together to create a collection that really
works.
